Unit 2 Lesson 8: JavaScript
- You are going to create a simple website using JavaScript. REQUIRED is to watch this SHORT SCREENCAST explaining both the requirements of this assignment, as well as how to write the code.
Unit 3 Lesson 10: Gimp Images
- Please watch this SHORT SCREENCAST (just a few minutes) prior to getting started with GIMP. You WILL need to download GIMP as instructed.
Unit 3 Lesson 13: Portfolio Item
- If you didn't already, Please watch this SHORT SCREENCAST (just a few minutes) prior to getting started with GIMP.
  - You WILL need to download GIMP as instructed.
- After you have downloaded GIMP and are ready to start your portfolio, watch this SHORT SCREENCAST so you don't do more work than you have to!
Unit 4 Lesson 5: Nvu-Publishing Your Site
- Lesson 1: In this lesson, you will be introduced to Nvu. In this unit, you will be making use of Nvu. You will be downloading and setting it up in Lesson 2. Do not skip this step, as you cannot complete your assignments for this unit, which will be submitted as your final portfolio, without it!
- Lesson 2: In this lesson, you will be downloading and setting up Nvu. This is required for your last unit's work, so do not skip this step! I have recorded a VERY short screencast showing you how to get it downloaded and set up.
- Lesson 3: In the previous lesson (U4 L2), you should have downloaded and set up Nvu. If you haven't yet, please go back to Lesson 2 and do so before starting this lesson.
- Lesson 4: You will be creating a cascading style sheet (CSS). There are very short screencasts included in this lesson showing you how to create your cascading style sheet in Nvu, so I won't post more here, but please be sure to carefully watch them for that extra visual support!
- Lesson 5: In order to have your HTML, other other files, related to your website stored outside of your computer, you will need to use an FTP, and in this class, it will be NVU. You should have downloaded it in Unit 4 Lesson 2.

Unit 1 Lesson 2: Introduction to Computing and Networking
- Please watch this ONE MINUTE LESSON RECORDING before starting Unit 1 Lesson 2. You will be glad you did!
Unit 1 Lesson 8: Virtualization
- The portfolio you will complete after taking the quiz is a research paper about technology. Instructions are in this lesson, but if it's easier, I have placed them into a Google Doc that you can download and edit. CLICK HERE TO VIEW.
- To submit, you will need to download your completed paper as a PDF or a document and submit it to your drop box
Unit 2: The Internet, Websites, and Digital Communication
- While there is no portfolio for this unit, ALL parts of this class work toward the end goal of the final project. Make sure you do your best working through each lesson and quiz!
Unit 3: Website Planning and Design
- Unit 3 Lesson 8: After the Quiz in this lesson, you will be creating a Navigational Flowchart for your website! This is Part Three of the final project for this class.
  - I have recorded a SHORT SCREENCAST to help you with this flowchart. Watch this before continuing with your lesson. You will be glad you did!
- Unit 3 Lesson 9: In this lesson, you will be evaluating a web designer blog, as well as other websites.
  - Please watch this VERY SHORT SCREENCAST before you get started. You will be glad you did!
Unit 4: Basic HTML and Cascading Style Sheets
- Unit 4 Lesson 1: REQUIRED - Watch this SHORT (but very important) SCREENCAST prior to starting this lesson. You will be glad you did!
- Unit 4 Lesson 3: REQUIRED - Watch this SHORT SCREENCAST about HTML coding and how to practice it right in our class! You will be glad you did!

Unit 4 Lesson 13: FINAL PROJECT!!
- The two most common questions/answers are below! Also, don't forget to SAVE this project, because we will be working on it next semester!!
- Question: What should be inside your MyWebsite file folder?
  - Answer: image file with images inside, at least 4 HTML pages, and .css sheet! (see screenshot below)
- Question: How do I submit my MyWebsite folder to the dropbox? I can’t submit a file folder, after all!
  - Answer: ZIP IT! (right click the folder, chose the zip option)
