Intro to Computer Applications

In Intro to Computer Applications, you will learn about internet practices, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations software! Below are some tips and tricks to help you with most of your assignments!

Note: Portfolios are the majority of your grade in our class, but Quick Checks are only 5% of your grade. That said, if you ever have a grade on a PORTFOLIO that you don't like, you may re-do your portfolio one time to try to get a higher grade. If you fail a Quick Check, just notice what you missed and move on. I do not reset Quick Checks!! They just don't impact your grade once you start submitting portfolios at the end of Unit 2.

You can use OpenOffice or Google Suite if you don't have Microsoft Office!

  • In this lesson, you will be analyzing your study strategies and setting some educational goals! In the process, you will be revisiting presentations software such as PowerPoint or Goolge Slides! Be sure to think deeply about how you can do better in school, and tell me about it while using your presentations software. You can do it!
